The European Week of Sport offers opportunities for youths in Rauma to try different sports and activities

The European Week of Sport is held from the 23rd to the 30th of September. During the week, Rauma sports and leisure services arrange all sorts of free activities for young people.

On Monday 26 September students from classes 5 to 9 can go to the swimming hall for free by using a special benefit in the Nuorisopassi app. In the swimming hall, they can also take part in a raffle from which they can win a 10-visit pass to the swimming hall.

On Tuesday the 27th kids aged 10 to 15 can go to Liikuntakeskus Troppi to try out badminton and padel without making a reservation beforehand.

On Wednesday the 28th a local pro Eerik Aalto will give free disc golf lessons at Rauma Disc Golf Park near Pohjoiskehä school. Also on Wednesday football club Pallo-Iirot will arrange a free bubble-football try-out for kids n the winter training hall from 3 PM to 5 PM.

On Thursday the 29th there is no entrance fee to the Rauma Skate hall from 5 PM to 8 PM. A raffle will also be held in the Skate hall for a free ten-visit pass.

On Friday the 30th there is a water-disco for kids aged 9 to 12 from 6 PM to 8.30 PM. The disco has been sold out.

The European Week of Sport is an initiative by the Europen Commission to promote sports and exercise all across Europe. the aim of the initiative is to encourage Europeans to be more active in their everyday life.
