Vaccinations for week 11

Woman receiving vaccination

Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare has updated its directives on the covid-vaccination order. According to the new directives vaccinations for people under 70 years of age with illnesses that are highly susceptible to a severe Covid-disease are suspended for the time being.
Appointments that are already handed out will not be canceled. The second dose will also be administered as planned, according to the current situation.

Vaccinations for people turning 75 years old and older

Vaccination events are held next week in SAMK gym at Satamakatu 26 and in the health center at Steniuksenkatu 2.

Appointments can be booked by phone +358 44 403 2687 starting Saturday 13 March from 8 AM to 3 PM, or as long as there are available appointments. Rauma healthcare services hope that family members assist the elderly in making their appointments.

Appointments can also be booked online at rauma.terveytesi.fi. Making appointments online requires secure authentification. Online appointments can only be made by people who have already turned 75-years-old.

Next to be vaccinated

People 70-74 years of age. They can not yet book appointments. They will be vaccinated after people 75 years of age and older are vaccinated.
