Satakunta regional infectious disease prevention team gathered on Tuesday 1 June to make its recommendations in line with the new guidelines given by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The City of Rauma follows recommendations made by the regional team. Rauma is still in the acceleration stage of the epidemic.

The regional team recommends that in municipalities currently in the acceleration stage no private events of more than 20 people would be held.

– People organizing parties are recommended to stagger the arrival of guests so that no more than 20 people are present at any one time. It is also recommended to log arrival and departure times of guests to ease possible infection tracings, the doctor responsible for infectious diseases Irene Reinvall says.

Southwest Finland Regional State Administrative Agency does not limit attendance in public gatherings and events starting from 1 June. However, the decision made by Rauma Social Affairs and Health Committee limiting indoor attendance to 20 is in effect until 8 June.

Hobby activities returning to normal

Children and young people can train and compete indoors and outdoors without safe distances. It is still recommended to favor outdoor spaces. Guardians and other people in attendance should adhere to safety guidelines.
