First vaccine doses available without appointments on 22nd and 24th of September

First vaccine doses are available without appointments on Wednesday 22 September from 12 AM to 7 PM and on Friday 24 September from 9 AM to 3 PM. The event is held on department T0 of the health care center on Steniuksenkatu 2.

– The vaccination rate in Rauma is worst in people 20 to 40 years old, head nurse Marja Iisakkala says.

The vaccination event is held in a safe manner with safe distances and face masks.

The person receiving the vaccine must bring personal identification with them, either an id-card, passport, or Kela card.

Moderna-vaccination day on 23 September

Rauma health care services will give vaccinations with the Moderna-vaccine by appointment on Thursday 23 September. Times for first doses or earlier second doses can be booked on Friday 17 September 2 PM forward on rauma.terveytesi.fi. Online appointments require secure authentification. The system does not support Internet Explorer -browser.

According to the recommendation by the Finnish Institute for health and welfare, the gap between vaccine doses can be shortened to six weeks instead of the earlier eight weeks. This applies to all vaccines.

If the recipient wishes to receive their second dose after six weeks, they must request an earlier date by calling tel. +358 44 403 2625 on weekdays from 8 AM to 10 PM.
