– Rauma may currently have several cases in the incubation period and the symptoms may have not yet begun. In addition, some carriers may be completely asymptomatic. Infections are largely derived from nightlife. Using masks and keeping the distance to other people is now absolutely essential, says Katrimari Salmela, the doctor responsible for infectious diseases.

The most common incubation period for Covid infection is about 4 to 5 days but varies between 1 and 14 days. If the exposed person has even mild symptoms such as runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever, odor or taste disturbance, or in some cases diarrhea, it is important to book an appointment for the test without any delay.
