Summer club activities for schoolchildren

Summer club activities provide 1st and 2nd graders, as well as older children with special support, full-time care from 8 AM to 4 PM (on call from 7.30 AM to 4.30 PM) on weekdays from 3 to 28 June 2024.

The application period for summer club activities is in March 2024. Families are informed of the application period through Wilma. Decisions on the summer club places will be sent by post no later than week 19.

The application for summer club activities is made either through the City of Rauma Wilma application or with a printable/electronic application form. In Wilma, the application can be found on the forms tab. A summer club place can only be applied for through Wilma during the joint application period in March. At other times, applying is possible with an electronic/printable application form. Application forms can be returned to Service Point Pyyrman, Valtakatu 2 A or after-school activities places.

Children can play, craft, go outdoors, and do small excursions in the summer clubs. The instructors are afternoon club instructors and special needs assistants. In addition, summer workers serve as assistants.

Summer club activities are subject to a fee. The operating fee for the summer of 2024: if the child needs care for 10 days or less, the amount is 100 euros, and the daily need for care is 190 euros. During the day, children are provided with a warm meal and snack. Children are also insured during the activity. Excursions are also included in the operating fee.

It is possible to apply for a discount or exemption for the summer club fee on social grounds. A fee reduction or exemption must be applied for either before or during the activities, but it cannot be granted retrospectively. The sibling discount is -50% of the agreed-upon payment category for the summer activities fee for the second child.
